WHO IS ON THEIR SIDE?
Opponents of the Civil Rights Initiatives often point out their list of supporters. However, they do not mention the A.C.L.U.,the N.A.A.C.P, the highly radical and devious activists By Any Means Necessary (B.A.M.N.) various Urban Leagues, and other volatile forces who support them. If they are advocating full disclosure and non-deception, why do they hide these key supporters?
WHO’S ON OUR SIDE?
There are important luminaries on who favor the CRI movements, including some of the most brilliant and respected race-relations scholars of our time. Many of these prominent scholars, researchers, and public figures are in fact black: Thomas Sowell, Shelby Steele, Booker T. Washington, Larry Elder, John McWhorter, Walter Williams, Ward Connerly, Star Parker, and many others.
Significantly, several of these made their way out of depressed circumstances long before “affirmative action” came to “help.”
Booker T. Washington was a former slave who firmly rejects the concept that white America had to somehow compensate for slavery or continue “helping” blacks. He rejected that help as a crippling force. Time has proven him right. Those who favor race and gender affirmative action never quote Booker T. Washington.
