RACE FREE ZONE CHALLENGE to DIVERSITYINC: TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH, IN CONTEXT
The DiversityInc website claims that Ward Connerly said, "God bless the KKK." RaceFreeZone contacted Ward Connerly and asked about the quotation. His answer is this:
"In context, I said if the KKK has finally learned that equality is better
than racial supremacy and hate, 'God bless them.' The comment has been taken
completely out of context."
RFZ: When facts and truth do not serve the cause of the race-baiters and affirmative action advocates of DiversityInc, do they simply twist the truth to get whatever answer they want? If so, should we trust anything else on their website?
DiversityInc's Joel McNally writes a commentary about Ward Connerly, painting a portray of Connerly as single-handedly pushing the end of affirmative action. People like McNally work to demonize Connerly, because they believe that if they can diminish him, paint him as a stooge of white people and demean his motivations, then the entire effort to make all Americans equal will somehow be invalid. We would like to point out that majorities in three high-population states have now voted to end affirmative action by government agencies. We at RaceFreeZone are part of the movement, using our own energy, time and money to forward equality before the law. Ward Connerly is a spearhead for the movement, but he is not making this monumental American change singlehandedly. He has inspired a generation, dared to be different, and millions of Americans have carried the beacon forward. Joel, read the Civil Rights Act of 1964. You need a refresher course in what it means to be an American.
Congressman John Conyers (D-Mich) has sent a letter to the Internal Revenue service, urging investigations into Ward Connerly’s two non-profit organizations for personal income and salary. Connerly is a lightning rod for the 2006 campaign because of the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative, which he is supporting. Similar initiatives have passed in California and Washington, spearheaded by Connerly.
Since Congressman Conyers is so interested in ethics, why he doesn’t ask the IRS to investigate his brother’s dealing with the Ford Motor Company? Nathan Conyers got a Jaguar franchise in Michigan, which Ford built for him in Novi for $10 million. Ford then put more millions more into new car inventory. The dealership has never made money. How does Nathan Conyers keep it going?
Ford, under a minority dealer support program, can decide whether to foreclose on the mortgage and repossess the inventory or absorb the losses (absurdly called “start-up costs”). Why doesn’t Ford close that money-losing dealership and keep some black workers employed elsewhere in an assembly plant?
Why? Would that offend the congressman they are buying off?
Just a few years ago, Mel Farr, then Detroit’s second-oldest minority Ford dealer, got into financial trouble. Ford terminated his dealership and repossessed the inventory. Too bad for Mel that he didn’t have a brother who was a ranking member of the US House of Representatives.
Will the Ford Motor Company reveal publicly the criteria they are using to decide whether to terminate franchises in Detroit? Will they tell us if they are thinking of terminating the original Ford franchise of Nathan Conyers ? Or would that offend the congressman who is so concerned about the ethics of others?
Please vote YES on Proposal 2 and against John Conyers. Michigan needs a fresh start.

RaceFreeZone challenges gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos and Senate Candidate Michael Bouchard to explain how affirmative action's "unintended consequences" have been better for America than complete equality before the law. See our "Unintended Consequences" section.
