JACK LIFTON was educated and
worked first as a chemist-metallurgist, then as a production manager, sales
manager, and finally as a CEO in the OEM automotive supplier industry. Despite being white and Jewish, he worked for
decades as one of the inside people in a series of black “fronts” operating as
Minority Business Enterprises and knows personally, the depths of fraud, fakery
and trumped up “diversity” that are used. Jack came along for the “minority
content” ride from its beginning as an altruistic but unworkable idea to its
evolution into the capital-draining monster it is today, a monster that is
helping to cripple an already feeble industry.
Unlike those who are locked into
positions and deals and pensions, Jack is free to talk. “I was allowed to be a bystander. I was invited to sit in the good seats and
watch. I was just a white guy who would
talk to these minority businessmen without really having a financial stake
in anything. I’m free to tell the truth
about minority supply to the American OEM automotive industry."
Knowing personally of some of the destruction
done to the fabric of American life and American business in the name of
affirmative action, Jack is launching “racefreezone.com” as a clearinghouse for
commentary, expose, and news about the fight to end the useless and valueless
practice of choosing people by race and sex instead of individual merit.

DIANE CAREY is a New York Times bestselling novelist of 46 books, including science fiction, historical fiction, a series of young adult adventures and two Civil War novels, and was also a newspaper columnist in mid-Michigan. Diane was raised in Flint, Michigan, the daughter and grand-daughter of Assyrian immigrants and poor Arkansas whites. Her perceptions of Flint, its multicultural community, and its economics are vastly different from the jaundiced view of such detractors as Michael Moore.
Diane is also the owner of and event specialist for Valiant Historic Events and Weddings, a Michigan-based small business. Diane is also an experienced watch leader and training officer aboard several historic tall ships which visited the Great Lakes in 2006, and other ships on the East and West Coasts.
Today, along with her husband of 27 years, Greg Brodeur, Diane is the parent of a multi-racial family. The couple has a white daughter, a white son, and a son adopted from Guatemala. They resent the sad result of affirmative action - that their children will be pitted against each other in the racial spoils system that prefers people based on the color of their skin instead of the content of their character, and that her daughter will be given favors she didn't earn because of her gender. Diane vows to fight against the suspicions and division caused by affirmative action, and to fight for a great American race-free-zone.

GREGORY BRODEUR is a senior computer programmer at Jackson National Life in Lansing, and also is an author of 46 science fiction novels, including 8 New York Times Bestsellers, in collaboration with his wife, RaceFreeZone’s Diane Carey, and four more books with his writing partner Dave Galanter. Greg does research, plot development and editing in collaboration science fiction novels, young adult, and historical novels, including two novels set during the United States Civil War. Greg spent eight years on the Owosso Board of Education and left as president. He and Diane are parents of a multi-race family, with a white daughter, a white son, and a Hispanic son adopted from Guatemala. Greg is also the uncle of four mixed-race children and three white children. He strongly believe that racial and gender affirmative action tries to pit their family members against each other in the doling out of "favors." They want their children valued as individuals, not in groups of color or sex.
Greg and his family managed a small business in West Branch for 6 years and are current owners of another Owosso small business, Valiant Events and Weddings.
